Sanchez who died in 1965; her parents, Epifano Mares, Sr., who died in 1973; and her mother, Bruna V. Mares who died in 1978; and her brothers, Joe V. Mares who died in 1998 and Ciprano V. Mares. She is survived by her loving companion of 35 years, Leonardo B. Chavez and his family of Albuquerque; two children, Sally Kehl and husband, Roger of Las Vegas, NV, and Wanda Sanchez Lerke and husband, Michael of Tijeras, NM; one sister, Bertha Moya and husband, Richard C., Albuquerque NM; two brothers, Epifanio Mares Jr., and wife, Kate, Belen, NM, and Frank V. Mares, Albuquerque, NM. She is also survived by three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren; and her extended family at Paloma Blanca and countless other friends. Mrs. Sanchez was a housekeeper for Presbyterian Hospital for approximately 15 years. She loved Casinos, slot machines, fishing and game shows. Kathy Lori Sanchez, 53, of La Porte, Texas, passed away Tuesday, September 17, 2019. Kathy was born in Fort Worth, Texas on November 17, 1965 to Carolyn and Charles Sartor. She married Genesis Sanchez on September 26th, 1984. They made their home in La Porte, Texas with two beautiful daughters.

Meador -- On July 23, 2001 the angels came for Josephine Meador, our beloved mom, grandma and great-grandma. She passed away peacefully after enjoying many years of her finest pastimes such as gambling, smoking and two daily Budweisers. She is survived by her daughter, Kathryn Alvarez and husband, Benjamin; granddaughters, Ursula A. Farinelli and Kathrya Mares; two great-grandsons, Kevin and Colton; and nieces, nephews and cousins.
